En 2005, Ester lanza su segundo disco como solista “Celebrating Cole Porter”, grabado en NY con músicos como Ben Street, Helen Sung, Rob Bargad, Peter Bernstein, J.D. Walter, Adam Cruz y Ximo Tébar. Ha contado con arreglistas como Jorge Pardo, Yaron Stavi, Polo Ortí o Ricardo Belda, aparte de los propios músicos que participaron en la grabación, que también se implicaron en este proyecto con sus arreglos. “Celebrating Cole Porter” lleva a Ester a la conferencia anual de la IAJE (International Association of Jazz Educators) en Nueva York acompañada por Ricardo Belda, César Giner, Donald Edwards y con Dave Schnniter como artista invitado. También presentó este disco en Buenos Aires, La Plata, Mar del Plata Jazz Festival, Europa Jazz Festival (Bucarest) y numerosos festivales de jazz españoles. La crítica especializada es unánime en destacarla como una de las mejores cantantes de jazz del territorio español
